Same Day Refunds are actually called refund anticipation loans.(RALS) Tax Tyme never planned on entering this market as direct deposit and E-File has reduced refund wait times in some cases to under ten days. RALS take a significant portion of your refund. However to stay competitive and meet the requests of all our customers we have decided to add this service.

      As mandated by the government, tax preparers that provide this service are only allowed to charge a prescribed amount. In other words a max amount, 15% on your first $300 and 5% on every hundred therafter. So a refund of $1000 would cost you $80. We encourage you to use our normal tax preparation service as that same $1000 refund would have cost you $49 unless you had a coupon or were a returning customer, then it could have cost you even less. We will be scrutinizing every refund processed this way. Tax Tyme reserves the right to refuse this service for any reason.
